Controlling the Map and Target Display

 
  After pressing the View button, the map page will be displayed. If the device has already sent a position, a map will be displayed showing the previous position. If this is a new device that hasn’t reported yet, a message is displayed stating that no points are currently available. If the target supports polling, a Poll button is displayed at the bottom of the Map image . Pressing this button initiates the communication process to obtain the current position for the selected device. While this process is transparent to you, progress notification is displayed. Please wait for each operation to finish before selecting another.

Once the target is displayed on the map, you may pan, zoom, or center the map. Panning: Click on the Map and it will recenter on that point. Click on ZoomIn or ZoomOut to change the view area of the Map. on the
Pan button does panning. The map coverage area may be increased by zooming out (shows more of the area around the device) or decreased by zooming in (giving more detail).

The
Track on/off button overlays previously recorded positions or track points on the map. The track points are displayed with labels showing the date and time of the position. Once the track points are enabled, the Track Report button is displayed. Pressing this button creates and displays a report based on the same track points. Press the Go Back to Map View link to return to the map display.
